My photography journey started by climbing into the passenger seat of my boyfriend’s Mazda 3. Without a specific destination in mind, we always found ourselves headed to a beach. A routine pit stop at the nearest Tim Hortons for a double-double and some chocolate Timbits before making our way to the ocean. I welcomed any excuse for a drive, and bringing my camera along provided an extra incentive to head out more often.
It's no secret that Nova Scotia is a beautiful province but the more we went out, the more I found to photograph. Iconic lighthouses, wildlife, ocean waves and all the subtle beauty of Nova Scotia.
I started to turn my lens toward people - Every gathering became an opportunity to capture photos my favourite people. After twelve years of taking photos, my archive is full of memories I’ve shared with those closest to my heart.
It's an honor to extend my love of photography to others and to have their special moments resonate with the same authenticity that has defined my photography to date. I provide guidance during photoshoots and I love creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere. I encourage clients to express themselves, their love for each other and to embrace their goofiness - this makes beautiful photos inevitable!
I like to eat, sleep, drink and be in love. I like to work, read, learn, and understand life.
When I'm not taking photos...
you can find me walking on the trail, bird watching, crocheting, spending time with family and friends, or cuddling up for afternoon naps with my two ragdoll kitties, Scrump and Pudge.
